Young Adult DBT Skills Group (Virtual)
Mindful Counseling has traditionally offered an in-person DBT Skills Group experience; however, due to the pandemic, we have transitioned to virtual for the foreseeable future. We know this is a need in the community and we wanted to continue this support in the safest way we knew to provide it. This group is targeted to individuals ranging in age from 18-26 and focuses on the unique needs and circumstances of young adulthood. DBT skills group focuses on learning how to utilize the four modules of DBT in everyday life. These modules include:
- Mindfulness skills
- Interpersonal Effectiveness skills
- Distress Tolerance
- Emotion Regulation.
