Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping others. Michelle holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas. Michelle has worked in private practice since 2019. Prior to that, she worked in nonprofit and medical settings providing group and individual therapy to children, teenagers, and adults that experienced abuse and trauma.

Michelle's Counseling Approach

involves working with older children, adolescents, and young adults. She is trained and nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for clients under 17 years old. She has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Michelle believes that change is possible through the individualized counseling process and strives to empower clients to advocate for themselves on the path of self-discovery. She meets each client where they are each day and believes counseling is a collaborative process where growth begins.
