Astrid Mora is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and Certified School Counselor who is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a graduate degree from Texas Woman’s University, Astrid brings a thoughtful, reflective approach to her work in mental health. With over seven years of experience in school settings and over a year in private practice, Astrid has supported clients through a range of life transitions, familial concerns, burnout, and stress-related issues. She has worked with children as young as four using play therapy techniques, and she especially enjoys counseling adolescents and adults in early to mid-life stages. Astrid also has experience facilitating co-parenting work, adolescent counseling, and couples therapy. Goal-oriented and client-centered, she strives to create a safe and empowering environment where each person can explore their story and grow at their own pace.
